Thailand is a country with important influence in Asia and a valued neighbor of China. China and Thailand enjoy a time-honored friendship and the two peoples share a history of friendly exchanges for thousands of years. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1975, under the personal commitment and nurturing of the top leaders of the two countries, the all-round friendly cooperation between China and Thailand has flourished, the "one family" traditional friendship has been cherished, and the China-Thailand comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has been continuously endowed with new connotations of the times.

China has embarked on a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country and China-Thailand relations embrace new and greater opportunities for in-depth development. We will work closely with the Thai side to promote the healthy and rapid development of China-Thailand relations by implementing the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, deepening political mutual trust, strengthening pragmatic cooperation, intensifying people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and expanding multilateral cooperation, so as to better benefit our two countries and two peoples, make greater contributions to promoting regional peace, stability and prosperity, and foster the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
